EnergyMon is owned and run by Dedicated Software Solutions Ltd, a software house, based in the UK.

Our aim is to be able to share the daily Agile energy rates by email each day. This saves you the need to go searching for the cheapest times to charge your cars / batteries or other high energy usage appliances, and avoid expensive electrical rates.

Octopus's Agile tarrif is a really great idea, with the API's that we can use to get their up to date prices for the product and location that you are in is a great service. It allows us to use energy when it is more affordable, and help blance the load on the grid. I love it.

Octopus release the next day energy rates usually just after 4pm in the afternoon, at which point this service picks up the rates, works out when it is more affordable to use electricity, and then sends each subscriber an email outlining the next day's energy rates.
