Our Agile Journey
Our house uses on average 12Kwh to 16Kwh of energy each day, and even more if I am doing some data analysis.
Setup:
- 10Kva Victron energy invertor
- 16.1Kwh Ecostore battery
- Battery upgraded to 48Kwh at the end of July
| Month | Usage | Total cost | Av price | Flex rate | Flex cost | Savings/month | Negative days |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| August 2026 | 496Kwh | £83.35 | 16.8p | 26.13p | £129.60 | £46.25 | 3 |
| July 2026 | 515Kwh | £81.35 | 15.78p | 26.13p | £134.57 | £53.22 | 5 |
| June 2026 | 385Kwh | £62.2 | 16.15p | 23.53p | £90.59 | £28.39 | 5 |
*June was only part month.
These are my real world usage and savings results, which I will keep updating as the year goes on.
I hope that it is useful for anyone planning on trying energy time shifting for themselves.
God bless you today,
Tony
